Deep navy & gold

Hartwell & Associates

Estate planning, wills & trusts · Atlanta, GA

The Firm & Goal

Hartwell & Associates is a traditional estate planning firm serving Atlanta families. The challenge was to establish immediate trust and authority — to look like the established, credible firm a family would confidently hand their legacy to.

The Design Approach

We chose a classic, timeless aesthetic: an elegant serif paired with deep navy and refined gold, generous whitespace, and a calm, formal structure. Every choice signals stability and experience. The design feels like an established firm with decades behind it — exactly the impression a traditional practice needs to make in the first few seconds.

The Trust Elements

Credentials and bar memberships are given prominent space, testimonials anchor the homepage, and a transparent flat-fee process removes uncertainty. Clear calls to action make booking a consultation effortless.

The Result

A polished, authoritative site designed to make a searching family feel they've found a firm they can trust without hesitation.

Sage green & terracotta

Legacy Law Group

Family-focused estate planning · Charlotte, NC

The Firm & Goal

Legacy Law Group is a family-focused firm helping younger Charlotte families plan for the people they love. The challenge was the opposite of intimidating: estate planning scares people off, so the site needed to feel warm, approachable, and human enough to overcome that hesitation.

The Design Approach

We built around warmth — soft cream tones, calming sage green, and a friendly terracotta accent, with a humanist serif and rounded, gentle shapes. The whole feel is welcoming rather than formal. The copy speaks in plain, caring language, reframing planning as an act of love rather than a grim legal chore.

The Trust Elements

Family-centered testimonials, a friendly three-step process, and upfront flat-fee pricing build confidence. The tone reassures hesitant first-time planners that this will be simple and stress-free.

The Result

A warm, modern site designed to turn “we really should get around to this” into a booked consultation.

Deep emerald & brass

Sterling Estate Law

Trusts & probate · Nashville, TN

The Firm & Goal

Sterling Estate Law serves high-net-worth families and individuals in Nashville with complex estates. The challenge was to convey sophistication and discretion — to reassure affluent clients that this firm operates at their level.

The Design Approach

We chose understated luxury: a high-contrast editorial serif, deep emerald and brass tones, and dramatic whitespace that lets the design breathe. The restraint is deliberate — quiet confidence rather than hard sell. Every detail signals a firm that protects significant wealth with precision and discretion.

The Trust Elements

Recognitions and credentials are presented with refined prominence, testimonials emphasize discretion and expertise, and the consultation is framed as a private, confidential conversation — language chosen to resonate with discerning clients.

The Result

An elevated, sophisticated site designed to make an affluent prospect feel they've found counsel worthy of their legacy.

Slate blue & warm amber

Birchwood Legal

Elder law & estate planning · Raleigh, NC

The Firm & Goal

Birchwood Legal specializes in elder law, serving aging adults and their families. The defining challenge was accessibility — the site needed to be genuinely easy to use for older visitors while also reassuring the adult children researching on a parent's behalf.

The Design Approach

Here, accessibility was a design requirement, not an afterthought. We used larger, highly readable text, high color contrast, calming slate-blue and sage tones, and prominent click-to-call buttons — because many visitors prefer to phone. The warm, gentle aesthetic was chosen to reassure families during an emotional, often stressful time.

The Trust Elements

Content speaks to both seniors and their adult children, elder-law credentials and associations are highlighted, and compassionate, patient language runs throughout. Phone numbers are large and tappable on every page.

The Result

A calm, accessible site designed to put both older clients and their families at ease — and make reaching out feel simple.

Brick clay & heritage green

Cornerstone Wills & Trusts

Estate planning for families · Savannah, GA

The Firm & Goal

Cornerstone Wills & Trusts is a community-rooted firm serving Savannah families. The challenge was to convey dependability and local trust — the feeling of a firm your neighbors recommend and your family returns to across generations.

The Design Approach

We leaned into warmth and roots: earthy parchment, brick clay, and heritage green tones with a classic, grounded serif. The “cornerstone” theme subtly informs the design — strong, foundational, dependable. A tasteful Southern sensibility and Savannah's character give it a genuine sense of place, distinguishing it from a generic law firm look.

The Trust Elements

Neighbor-style testimonials, a friendly flat-fee process, and language emphasizing community roots and long-term relationships build trust. The firm is positioned as a steady local fixture, not a faceless practice.

The Result

A warm, grounded site designed to feel like the trusted local firm a family builds on for generations.
